Dr. Dahan
Doctor

Dr. Dahan is a general dentist with a limited practice in TMJ & Sleep Apnea Management. Dr. Dahan was raised in London, Ontario and moved to the Ottawa region after high school. He graduated from Carleton University with a degree in Science and went on to complete a Dental degree at McGill University in 2005. He practiced general dentistry in Ottawa for five years while simultaneously furthering his education with a Masters in Dental Science degree.

His interest in facial pain management and sleep dentistry lead him to leave his dental practice and pursue a clinical fellowship in orofacial pain at the world-renowned Massachusetts General Hospital located in Boston.

Dr. Khan
Doctor

Dr. M.Q. Khan graduated from University of Toronto with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He is currently completing a Certificate in Orofacial Pain degree from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Khan is passionate about treating patients in pain and improving their quality of life. He has a wealth of experience in treating patients in various clinical settings – including both military and private practice settings. Dr. Khan has a strong commitment to improve his dentistry skills and knowledge through various continuing education courses and mentorship programs. He is completing his Certificate in Orofacial Pain degree from the University of Southern California and is receiving mentorship from Dr. Dahan to improve his knowledge in treating patients with TMJ Disorders and Sleep Apnea.

In his free time, Dr. Khan enjoys dining out, spending time with family, working on his car and participating in community activities.

Zaineb
(Registered Nurse)

Zaineb is a dedicated Registered Nurse who began her healthcare journey in 2011 as a Registered Practical Nurse. Inspired by her passion for patient care, she continued her education and graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2016 as a Registered Nurse.

She has gained meaningful experience across diverse clinical settings, including her current roles at The Ottawa Hospital Chronic Pain Clinic and the Ottawa TMJ & Sleep Apnea Clinic. Zaineb strives to build strong rapport with patients through empathy, compassion, and genuine connection. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for every patient she meets.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, watercolor painting, crocheting and cooking—especially trying new recipes and sharing them with loved ones. She also cherishes time with her family and is supported and inspired by her husband, whose encouragement enriches her personal and professional journey.

Ben
(Physiotherapist)

Benjamin is a physiotherapist whom completed his Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy Degree at Queen’s University and Undergraduate at the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Kinetics (Honours; Magna Cum Laude).

Benjamin is passionate about optimally restoring his clients’ function through many different techniques. Focusing on client-centered goals, he uses a combination of hands-on techniques, manual therapy, exercise, and education. He believes that clients should be an active participant in their recovery.

Benjamin has taken a special interest in TMJ related disorders and has taken continued education courses in relation to chronic pain, TMJ, head, and neck related disorders.

Crystal
(Treatment Coordinator)

Crystal is our Treatment Coordinator and brings over 15 years of experience working in medical professional settings. She is deeply dedicated to helping others and takes pride in being on the front lines of patient care. Crystal’s personal experience with TMJ dysfunction and a sleep disorder allows her to connect with patients on a more personal and compassionate level.

Outside of work, she enjoys long walks with her goldendoodle, Dino, and spending her free summer days reading and relaxing on the beach. 

Syndi
(Front Office Administrator)

Syndi is one of the first smiles to greet patients when they arrive at the office. As the Front Office Administrator, she brings over 20 years of experience in dental hygiene, teaching, and office management.

Born and raised in northern Manitoba, Syndi spent several years travelling to Nunavut to provide remote dental care before settling in Ottawa and now Dunrobin with her husband and four legged friends.

Outside the office, she enjoys beekeeping, snowshoeing, wakeboarding, and windsurfing at the cottage on Round Lake.

She looks forward to working with patients on their healing journey.

Allison
(Dental Assistant)

Allison With 25 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, Allison has dedicated her career to helping patients feel comfortable, supported, and well cared for. For almost five years, she has been part of the team at the Ottawa TMJ and Sleep Apnea Clinic, where she truly enjoys contributing to patients’ health and overall quality of life.

Outside of work, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. Whether camping, golfing, or skiing, family activities are a big part of their lives. She is also an enthusiastic fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Ottawa Senators, always ready to cheer on her favourite teams.

Lauren
(Dental Assistant)

Lauren is one of our exceptional Level II Dental Assistants here at the clinic. She brings 13 years of experience in the dental field. Born and raised in Niagara, Ontario, Lauren moved to Ottawa after graduating from the Dental Assistant program at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. She also spent two years working overseas in Australia, gaining valuable international experience.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, relaxing at the cottage, or travelling. She loves hiking, fitness classes, and curling up with a good book.

Osama
(In-House Lab Technician)

Osama is the person working behind the scenes to craft your dental appliances with precision and care. A trained dentist from Gaza, he brings valuable clinical knowledge to every case, focusing on the finest details to ensure each appliance is accurate, comfortable, and built to the highest quality standards.

As part of our first in-house lab, Osama helps us maintain greater control over fit, quality, and turnaround time. This allows us to make adjustments quickly and deliver appliances more efficiently for our patients.

Outside of the clinic, Osama enjoys spending time with his family and especially loves playing with his nephew.
